Boil Advisory

Effective Immediately - The Creston Water System has experienced problems with the chlorination system and because of these problems the water produced is of questionable microbiological quality. Therefore as a precaution, CWS has issued a BOIL ADVISORY. The BOIL ADVISORY is to remain in effect until rescinded by the water system. This will be announced once the problems are resolved and water samples are collected and deemed safe by LDH. Please boil your water for one (1) full minute before consumption which includes but is not limited to food preparation, brushing teeth, making ice or rinsing food.
